The Holiday season is right around the corner, which means a calendar full of festivites. Getting the look together for a Holiday party can be tricky. Remember the key is to HAVE FUN!!! Whether you will be attending an Ugly Sweater party , a House party or Black Tie event . This festive season is all about standing out. So here are some tips to help you out!

1- START OFF WITH A STATEMENT JACKET. Theres a good chance it will be cold outside when heading to your holiday soirees , so a chi coat is a must have, Its' the first thing people see and you can use it to pull our enitre look together. Make sure that it is perfectly fitted. If you really want to step it up, add something fashion forward and interesting in texture, such as a fur. You can always add a broach or cinching it with a belt to look like a fashionista!

2-TIS THE SEQUIN There isn't a time of year when glitter is more appropriate than during the holiday season. Incorporate a shimmering piece into your holiday look. This holiday season is all about over the top glam. Think crystals, sequins and gliter will all stand out. Your shoes can even be crystal embellished. Just try not to go overboard. You wouldn't want to look like a Christmas tree would you?

3-SANTA BABY. Sure you can't go wrong in a littel black dress, but all shades of red will be and are the rage this holiday season. You can also incorporate popular jewel tones to get you into the holiday season.

4-HOLLY JOLLY VELVET A super huge trend this season is the return of Velvet. It can be worn as a sexy pant, dress,blazer or add it in your accessories such as a pair of shoes and or purse. This is one fabric must for this holiday season.

5-EYE CATCHING JEWLERY If there is ever a time to pile on an armful of bangles, a gigantic bib necklace, a cocktail ring the size of a doorknob. This is the season to do it!! Dont be araid to make a statment with your jewlery, just keep the rest of your outfit simple.

6- BOLD BEAUTY If your a fan of the smokey eye, a bold lip, and intricate up-do, then Rejoice!. We all know these looks are not appropriate for every day, but why not try something daring this holiday season.

7- NAUTY OR NICE Textures and layers are going to be a huge hit this holiday season. Simplicity should be left to another season. Think Vinyl, Yes Vinyl. who knew PVC would dominate the world of fashion . If wearing a dress may seem to over the top, incorporate a jacket, pants or even a pari of boots. Give it a try!!

8-DITCH THE DENIM You have 11 months to wear your skinny jeans. So store them away until the party circuit is over. Instead of jeans opt for tapered black trousers or a pair of pants in a festive color or print. The idea is that you dont want to look too casual!!
